Campaign launch / Indiegogo

As co-director of the WaveCheck campaign, I led marketing and communications efforts for this Indiegogo campaign to fund an innovative technology for cancer research. 

Over 500 backers from around the world raised $53,000 CDN, which was ultimately matched by affiliated partners to fund the first clinical trial. 

Deliverables included the launch video, launch page, reachout and fundraising strategy, and supporting social media collateral. 

WaveCheck was covered by over 40 news outlets in Canada, including CTV National News and the Globe and Mail. It was also named one of Canada’s Top 10 Canadian Crowdfunding Campaigns.
