The Analytic Eye (now on permanent hiatus) began as my personal blog to explore marketing communications and popular culture. 

My post, “5 Viral Takeaways from Nightmares Fear Factory,” was excerpted as a chapter in The Book of Business Awesome by Scott Stratten and published by Wiley in August 2012.

In its ten plus years of online existence, the blog garnered over 500,000 visitors.

In 2012, I delivered a Tedx talk at the 2012 TedxWaterlooWomen event on how movies about women superheroes provide a testing ground for the North American obsession with professional women “having it all” (+4,000 views). 

That talk also directly inspired my fiction work on The Xenthian Cycle
