Growclass

Growclass is both a course for senior marketers looking to level up their growth skills and a community of current students and past graduates who network to collectively solve problems, learn together, and share resources. 

In January 2024, the Canadian government awarded Growclass and two partner organizations $1.7 million to upskill over 500 people in growth marketing, with a particular emphasis on women and marketers from underrepresented communities. 

I joined Growclass in its first cohort and have been an active member of the community for five years. After hearing my name come up time and again in alumni stories, founder and CEO Sarah Stockalde invited me to join Growclass part-time as a career strategist. 

I met with over 150 students to help them shape individual career plans while also giving monthly webinars on career strategy and tactics for improving a LinkedIn profile. 

I also offer private career strategy sessions.

In terms of success stories, the numbers speak for themselves: 

• $27,600 is the average salary bump for Growclass alumni 
• 93% of students seeking new roles found them within three months of completing the full certification 
• 69% get promoted within three months of completing the full certification

Within sixty days of graduation: 

• Women saw a 26% salary increase
• Racialized students saw a 44% increase 
• 2SLGGBTQ!A+ folks saw a 34% salary increase
