I’ll work with you to set a high-level plan to ensure your project’s success, including core deliverables, available resources, and key dates.

What to expect
- After an initial conversation to review your launch goals and constraints, I’ll draft a plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be.
- I’ll provide milestones, timelines and a critical path to make it crystal clear what needs to be done.
- Developing your Lightning Map will also keep us aligned if you choose to hire me to develop a fully detailed project plan or to run your launch.
The Lightning Map™—Drill-down version
Working from the high-level Lightning Map, I’ll expand your plan into a comprehensive list of deliverables, steps, and milestones that are crucial to your success.
I’ll meet with your internal stakeholders to understand your needs in detail. The drill-down version also sketches responsibilities by team or department.
You get: A detailed, every-step plan between when we start and launch day.
The best part? The plan does double duty as your accountability tracker to keep you on time while also acting as a reporting tool to your leadership team. It’ll help them understand where you are, what’s on time, and which blockers you’re encountering (if any).
After we’ve developed your drill-down document, I’ll train your team in how to update the report to ensure visibility into your success.
Ride the Lightning: Let’s go together
In this engagement, I’ll run your launch. With a retainer agreement in place, I’ll use the drill-down Lightning Map as our roadmap to your success.
I’ll also train your internal project co-leader to spearhead your future projects. That way, you’ll also build expertise within your team as we deliver.
This type of engagement generally requires one to three months notice. We’ll also need to build a drill-down Lightning Map as a prerequisite to this working relationship.
